Recession of Notification No.3/2010, dated the 22nd June, 2010 - Effective rate of Clean Energy Cess leviable on goods - 20/2014 - Central Excise - Tariff

[TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE GAZETTE OF INDIA, EXTRAORDINARY, PART II, SECTION 3, SUB-SECTION (i)] GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF FINANCE (DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE) Notification No. 20/2014-Central Excise New Delhi, dated the 11th July, 2014 G.S.R. 451(E). - In exercise of the powers conferred by section 83 of the Finance Act, 2010 (14 of 2010) read with section 5A of the Central Excise Act, 1944 (1 of 1944) , the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby rescinds the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No.3/2010-Clean Energy Cess, dated the 22nd June, 2010, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, vide number G.S.R. 545 (E), dated the 22nd June, 2010 , except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such rescission.
