..... Guidelines for Single Brand Retail Trade - News and Press Release Dated:- 24-7-2019 - News - FDI policy on Single Brand Retail Trade (SBRT) has been in operation since 2006. From 2006 till 29.03.2018, 112 brands have obtained approval of Government for SBRT activities. FDI upto 100% under automatic route has been allowed in SBRT vide Press Note 1 of 2018 which was subsequently notified vide Foreign Exchange Management (Transfer or Issue of Security by a Person Resident Outside India) (Amendment) Regulations, 2018 on 26/03/2018.
