form no.403 under gujarat value added tax act
VAT / CST / GST

Dear Sir,

I would like to know the applicablity of form no.403 under gujarat value added tax act. I have to send the material from uttar pradesh to Ukai, Gujarat. as i know the 3 copies i.e original / duplicate / triplicate are to be used. let us inform that 3 copies to be used or 2 copies.

The copies of Form 403 will be used.  Kindly refer section 68 read with rule 51 (5) of the Gujrat VAT Act and Rules respectively.

The three copies of Form 403 will be used.  Kindly refer section 68 read with rule 51 (5) of the Gujrat VAT Act and Rules respectively. 

Further, new ONLINE CHECK-POST Submission Templates have been revised by the 'Gujarat Value Added Tax Department' as per the requisitions of the dealers and consultations with various representatives.  These Templates will be made LIVE from 01/08/2011. The Sample templates are put up – herewith for the dealers to get acquainted and make necessary changes in their respective software, if need be. The new templates facilitates multiple invoice details, entering two Vehicle number in case of long distance transport, change in format of CST no., and provision to select address of any other additional place of business except the main one.. While uploading the template have been incorporated.

**Please note that, until the new templates become LIVE; please continue to use existing templates.
