Rajiv Mehrishi takes over as Secretry, Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance

Shri Rajiv Mehrishi, IAS (RJ:78) took over as Secretary Department of Economic Affairs(DEA), Ministry of Finance, Government of India with effect from the afternoon of 30^th October, 2014 and until further orders. The Notification in this regard was issued today.

Shri Mehrishi succeeds Shri Arivnd Mayaram, IAS (RJ:78) who, in turn, was relieved yesterday of his duties as Finance Secretary and Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs in order to take-up his new assignment as Secretary, Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India.
