Central Government de-notifies an area of 7.40 hectares, thereby making resultant area as 2.60 hectares at Kesarapalli Village, Gannavram Mandal, Krishna District, in the State of Andhra Pradesh - S.O. 2257(E) - Special Economic Zone

MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Commerce) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 23rd May, 2018 S.O. 2257(E).- Whereas, M/s. Ace Urban Hitech City Limited (Formerly, M/s L T Hitech City Limited), had proposed under section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for Information Technology and Information Technology enabled services at Kesarapalli Village, Gannavram Mandal, Krishna District, in the State of Andhra Pradesh; AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules 2006 , had notified and de-notified the following areas at above Special Economic Zone as per the details given below:- S.No. Notification No. Date Notified Area in Hectares De-notified area in Hectares Total Area in Hectares (i) S.O. 40 (E) 15.01.2007 12 - 12 (ii) S.O. 2310 (E) 05.10.2011 - 2 10 AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government, further approved the request of change of name from M/s. L T Hitech City Limited to M/s. Ace Urban Hitech City Limited vide letter dated 1st May, 2018; AND, WHEREAS, M/s. Ace Urban Hitech City Limited has now proposed for de-notification of 7.40 hectares from the above Special Economic Zone; AND, WHEREAS, the State Government of Andhra Pradesh has given its approval to the proposal vide letter No.55669/ITE C-Prom/2015 dated 3rd April, 2018; AND, WHEREAS, the Development Commissioner, Visakhapatnam Special Economic Zone has recommended the proposal for de-notification of an area of 7.40 hectares of the Special Economic Zone; AND, NOW, WHEREAS, the Central Government is satisfied that the requirements under sub-section (8) of section 3 of the said Act and other related requirements are fulfilled; NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006, the Central Government hereby de-notifies an area of 7.40 hectares, thereby making resultant area as 2.60 hectares, comprising the survey numbers and the area given below in the table, namely:- TABLE Sl.
