Seeks to amend various notifications - 100/2018 - Customs - Non Tariff

GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF FINANCE (DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE) (CENTRAL BOARD OF INDIRECT TAXES AND CUSTOMS) Notification No. 100/ 2018-Customs (N.T.) New Delhi, the 27th December, 2018 G.S.R. 1236 (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs, hereby makes following further amendments in the notifications of the Government of India, Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), in the following manner, namely :- (a) in the notification No.82/2017-Customs(NT), dated the 24th August, 2017, published vide number G.S.R. 1064 (E) dated the 24th August, 2017 , - (i) in Table 1, against Sl.No.4, in column (3), item (iv) shall be omitted; (ii) in the Table 2, against Sl. No.7, - (A) in column (3), the entry Commissioner of Customs (Nhava Sheva-IV), Mumbai Zone-II shall be omitted; (B) in column (4), the entry Additional Commissioners, or Joint Commissioners, or Deputy Commissioners, or Assistant Commissioners, of Customs working under the control of Commissioner of Customs (Nhava Sheva-IV), Mumbai, Zone-II shall be omitted; (b) in the notification No.85/2017-Customs(NT), dated the 7th September, 2017, published vide number G.S.R.1136 (E), dated the 7th September, 2017 , in the Table, after Sl.No.3 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be inserted, namely :- (1) (2) (3) (4) 4 Chief Commissioner of Customs, Mumbai Zone-II Commissioner of Customs (Audit), Nhava Sheva All India (c) in the notification No.92/2017-Customs(NT), dated the 28th September, 2017, published vide number G.S.R.1210 (E), dated the 28 th September, 2017, in the Table, against Sl.No.3, in column (3), item (iv) shall be omitted. 2. The principal notification No. 82/2017-Customs (N. T.), dated the 24th August, 2017 was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary vide number G.S.R. 1064(E), dated the 24th August, 2017 and was last amended vide notification No. 75/2018-Customs (N.T.), dated the 21st August, 2018, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary vide number G.S.R. 791(E), dated the 21st August, 2018. 2. The principal notification No. 85/2017-Customs (N. T.), dated the 7th September, 2017 was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary vide number G.S.R. 1136(E), dated the 7th September, 2017 and was last amended vide notification No. 119/2017 Customs (N.T.), dated the 28th December, 2017, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary vide number G.S.R. 1589(E), dated the 28th December, 2017. 3. The principal notification No. 92/2017-Customs (N.T.) dated the 28th September, 2017 was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary vide number G. S.R. 1210(E), dated the 28th September, 2017 and was last amended vide notification No. 24/2018 Customs (N.T.), dated the 28th March, 2018, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary vide number G.S.R.294(E), dated the 28th March, 2018.
