Central Government notifies an additional area of 10.178 hectares, as a part of above Special Economic Zone, thereby making total area of the Special Economic Zone as 27.298 hectares at Plot No. 3, Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park, Hinjewadi, Phase II, Village Marunji, Taluka Mulshi, District Pune in the State of Maharashtra - S.O. 1751(E) - Special Economic Zone

MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Commerce) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 14th May, 2019 S.O. 1751(E).- Whereas, M/s. Embassy Office Parks Pvt. Ltd. (formerly M/s. Dynasty Developers Private Limited and M/s. Pune-Embassy Project Private Limited), had proposed under section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005) , (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for Information Technology and Information Technology Enabled Services at Plot No. 3, Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park, Hinjewadi, Phase II, Village Marunji, Taluka Mulshi, District Pune in the State of Maharashtra; AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules 2006 , had notified an area of 17.12 hectares at the above Special Economic Zone vide Ministry of Commerce and Industry Notification Number S.O. 1962(E) dated 19th November, 2007 ; AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government approved the request for transfer of approval from M/s. Dynasty Developers Private Limited to M/s. Pune-Embassy Projects Private Limited. Further, consequent upon transfer of 100% shares to M/s. Embassy Office Parks Pvt. Ltd., the name of the developer was changed from M/s. Pune-Embassy Projects Private Limited to M/s. Embassy Office Parks Pvt. Ltd. with the approval of the Central Government; AND, WHEREAS, M/s. Embassy Office Parks Pvt. Ltd. has now proposed to include additional area of 2.88 hectares and 7.298 hectares i.e. total 10.178 hectares area as a part of above Special Economic Zone and the Central Government after considering the said proposal approved and conveyed it on 14th May, 2019; NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006 , the Central Government hereby notifies an additional area of 10.178 hectares , as a part of above Special Economic Zone, thereby making total area of the Special Economic Zone as 27.298 hectares , comprising the survey numbers and the areas given below in the table, namely:- TABLE FOR ADDITIONAL AREA S.
