Central Government appoints the 15th day of August, 2019 as the date on which the provisions of various Sections of the Companies (Amendment) Act, 2019 shall come into force - File No. 1/5/2019-CL-I - S.O. 2947 - Companies Law

Government of India Ministry of Corporate Affairs Notification New Delhi, the 14th August, 2019 S.O. 2947 (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Companies (Amendment) Act, 2019 (22 of 2019) , the Central Government hereby appoints the 15th day of August, 2019 as the date on which the provisions of sections 6 , 7 and 8 , clauses (i), (iii) and clause (iv) of section 14 , section 20 , section 31 , sections 33 , 34 and 35 and sections 37 and 38 of the said Act shall come into force.
