Central Government appoints the 21st day of December, 2020 as the date on which the Various provision of the Companies (Amendment) Act, 2020 shall come into force - S.O. 4646 (E) - Companies Law

Government of India Ministry of Corporate Affairs Notification New Delhi, the 21 December, 2020 S.O. 4646 (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Companies (Amendment) Act, 2020 (29 of 2020), the Central Government hereby appoints the 21 ST day of December, 2020 as the date on which the following provisions of the said Act shall come into force, namely :- Sl. No. Sections 1 . Section 1 ; 2. Section 3 ; 3. Sections 6 to 10 (both inclusive); 4. Sections 12 to 17 (both inclusive); 5. Clauses (a) and (b) of section 18 ; 6. Sections 19 to 21 (both inclusive); 7. Clause (i) of section 22 ; 8. Section 24 ; 9. Section 26 ; 1 0. Sections 28 to 31 (both inclusive); 1 1 . Sections 33 to 39 (both inclusive); 1 2.
