Rule 17 - Liberalization of measure - Customs Tariff (Identification and Assessment of Safeguard Measures) Rules, 1997

17. Liberalization of 1 [measure]. - If the duration of the 1 [ measure ] levied under rule 12 exceeds one year, the 1 [ measure ] shall be progressively liberalized at regular intervals during the period of its imposition. ************ NOTES:- 1. Substituted vide Notification No. 12/2021-Customs (N.T.) dated 01-02-2021 w.e.f. 02-02-2021 before it was read as duty

12/2021 - Dated: 1-2-2021 - Customs - Non Tariff - Seeks to further amend Customs Tariff (Identification and Assessment of Safeguard Duty) Rules, 1997 to provide for the manner of application of safeguard measures including tariff-rate quota and make certain other miscellaneous changes.
02/2020 - Dated: 29-7-2020 - Safeguard Duty - Seeks to continue the levy of Safeguard duty on imports of 'Solar Cells whether or not assembled in modules or panels' for a period of one year , in pursuance of final findings of review investigations issued by DGTR.
