DOMS CIRCULAR No. 67 DATED 26-1-1997 Sub: Notice u/s 158 BC of the IT Act, 1961—(ITNS 274)— Modification regarding. Reference is invited to the Income-tax (Second Amendment) Ordinance, 1996 (32 of 1996) under terms of which clause (a) of section 158BC of the Income-tax Act, 1961 has been modified. This change has also necessitated change in the format of the notice. I.T.N.S. 274, that is to be issued under the aforesaid section. The change in the format has since received Board's approval. A copy of the revised I.T.N.S. 274 is enclosed for necessary action. The above-referred change may kindly be brought to the notice of all officers working in your region. It is also requested that this notice may be printed locally in accordance with your requirements. Thereafter, it may be supplied to the concerned Assessing Officers for their use. Yours faithfully.
