Amendments in Notification No. 38/2001-CE (NT), Dated 26/06/2001(Rank of Officer of Central Excise) NOTIFICATION NO. 37/2004-CE(N.T.) DATED 05/11/2004 G.S.R (E) In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of Section 2 of the Central Excise Act, 1944 (1 of 1944) read with sub-rule (1) of rule 3 of the Central Excise Rules, 2002, the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby makes the Following further amendments in the notification of the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 38/2001-Central excise (N.T.) dated the 26th June, 2001, namely:- In the said notification,- In the Table, for S,. No. 1 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, Namely,- S.No. Officers Rank of Officer of Central Excise (1) (2) (3) "1. Inspector" Note : The Principal Notification was published in the Gazette of India vide notification No. 38/2001-Central Excise (N.T.) dated the 26th June, 2001 [GSR 467 (E), dated the 26th June, 2001] and last amended vide notificatin No. 1/2003-Central Excise (N.T.) dated the 13th January, 2003 [GSR 27(E), dated the 13th January, 2003] [F.No.208/13/2004-CX.6]
