Central Government notified the area admeasuring 115.25 hectares at Vallarpadom, Mulavukadu / fort Kochi village, District Ernakulum, Kerala, as a Special Economic Zone to enable Cochin Port Trust set to up a SEZ in the port at Vallarpadom, Kerala - S. O. 1897 (E) - Special Economic Zone

MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Commerce) NOTIFICATION Dated 02/11/2006 S. O. 1897 (E) - In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005) read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006 and after grant of letter of approval on the 18th April, 2006, under Sub-section (10) of Section 3 to M/s. Cochin Port Trust for setting up of a Special Economic Zone in the port at Vallarpadom, Kerala the Central Government, on being satisfied that the requirements under Sub-section (8) of Section 3 of the said Act and other related requirements are fulfilled, hereby notifies the following area at Vallarpadom, Mulavukadu/Fort Kochi Village, Ernakulam District, in the State of Kerala, comprising of the survey numbers and the area given in the Table below, as a Special Economic Zone, namely:- Table Name of Village Survey Number Area (in hectares) Mulavukadu/Fort Kochi Village 235/2 (Part) 115.25 Sd/- Anil Mukim Joint Secretary to the Government of India
