Exemption to all goods leviable to the Clean Energy Cess from levy of Clean Energy Cess, as is in excess of the amount calculated at ₹ 200 per tonne - No. 1/2015-Clean Energy Cess - Central Excise - Tariff

G.S.R. 164 (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (7) of section 83 of the Finance Act, 2010 (14 of 2010) read with section 5A of the Central Excise Act, 1944 (1 of 1944) , the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby exempts all goods leviable to the Clean Energy Cess under section 83 of the said Finance Act , from so much of the Clean Energy Cess leviable thereon under the Tenth Schedule to the said Finance Act, 2010 , as is in excess of the amount calculated at the rate of ₹ 200 per tonne.
