Provident fund notified under clause (xviia) of sub-section (1) for the purposes of exemption of amount standing to the credit of individual therein Notification No. 2432 Dated 2-7-1968. In pursuance of clause (xviia) of sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Wealth-tax Act, 1957 (27 of 1957), the Central Government hereby notifies the Public Provident Fund established under the Public Provident Fund Scheme, 1968, as a provident fund to which the said clause shall apply.
