Summary of Revenue Collection during the month August, 2015

Indirect Tax Revenue (Provisional) Collections Increases from ₹ 39,781 Crore in August, 2014 to ₹ 54,396 Crore in August 2015, thus registering an increase of 36.7% in the month August 2015 over the corresponding month in the Previous Year.

Indirect Tax Revenue (Provisional) collections have increased from ₹ 1,92,677 crore upto August -2014 to Rs.2,63,089 crore upto August-2015. Thus an increase of 36.5% has been registered upto August - 2015 over the corresponding period in the previous year. There is an achievement of 40.7% of the target fixed for BE- 2015 - 16.

Customs collections have increased from ₹ 15,727 crore during August - 2014 to ₹ 19,062 crore during August -2015, thus registering an increase of 21.2 % over the corresponding month of the previous year. There is an achievement of 40.90% of the BE target fixed for 2015 -16 . Service Tax collections have increased from ₹ 10,970 crore in August - 2014 to ₹ 14,144 crore during August – 2015, thus registering an increase of 28.9% over the corresponding month of the previous year. There is an achievement of 35.8 % of the BE target fixed for 2015 - 16.

Central Excise collections have increased from ₹ 13,084 crore in August - 2014 to ₹ 21,190 crore during August - 2015, thus registering an increase of 62.0 % over the corresponding month of the previous year. There is an achievement of 45.1 % of the BE target fixed for 2015 – 16.
