please share the rules of excise registration & limit of exemption.

I have SIS unit cross the sale amount 1 Cr. today....please give us suggestion of excise registration, exemption & rules of excise for new registration.

The SSI exemption available to all units upto 1.5cr turnover vide notification no. 8/2003-CE. No need to take registration and duty payment.

U r to apply for registration when your turnover crosses ₹ 1.40 Crore.
