Pay all outstanding Service Tax, submit returns and after that surrender the original RC to the concerned authority with an undertaking to pay any outstanding tax with interest.

Go online through www.aces.gov.in, surrender ur RC, get a print of that submit the same alongwithh the RC issued to you to the Range Office, there there is no outstanding due to you or any case pending against you, surrender will be accepted.

1.  Pay all service  tax due till date of surrender

2.Go to aces.gov. in and submit all service tax returns pending including for the broken period ending the date of surrender

3. Go to aces.gov.in and surrender your registration

4. Submit the original RC along with the printout of the surrender information availble from the website to your jurisdictional supdt.

5. In some ranges, an affidavit stating that all future dues which may arise will paid by you, should also be submitted.
