ss and Secondary and Higher Education Cess are exempted form 1.3.2015 vide Notification No. 14 and 15 of 2015 CE dated 1.3.2015. therefore upto 28.2.2015 the above mentioned cesses are payable. Therefore you suppliers demand for payment of the same is correct in law. You can take credit of such cesses and keep them in your credit account but you cannot utilise the same in view of the exemption.
