However, the amount of ₹ 1,75,000/- which also formed part of the same income tax return and bank statement was still considered as unexplained income and added to the income of the appellant. On the other hand, learned DR supported the order of Assessing Officer and CIT(A). 23. After considering the rival submissions we do not find any force in the submissions of learned counsel for the assessee. First of all, we have already rejected the admission of additional evidence in the form of gift deed in respect of this gift deed because learned counsel could not give any reason why the same was not produced before Assessing Officer or CIT(A).
