Notice Issuance and Counter-Affidavit Filing (W.P.(CRL) 1051/2021 & CRL.M.A. 8479/2021, W.P.(CRL) 1052/2021 & CRL.M.A. 8481/2021): The Court issued notices in the mentioned cases. Both respondent No.1 and respondent No.2 accepted the notice and requested time to file a counter-affidavit. The Court directed the respondents to file the necessary documents within four weeks with an advance copy to the other party. Any rejoinder to be filed within two weeks thereafter. The matter was set for further hearing on a specified date. The Court ordered that no coercive steps should be taken against the petitioners until further orders, but they must cooperate with the investigation when required. The Court clarified that if custodial interrogation is deemed necessary by the investigating agency, they must provide reasons and seek permission from the Court.
