You can apply for GST registration online through the GST portal (www.gst.gov.in). Here are the steps to apply for GST registration:

1. Visit the GST portal: Go to the GST portal (www.gst.gov.in) and click on the “Services” tab, then select “Registration” and click on “New Registration” option.

2. Choose the registration type: Select the type of registration based on the type of business you have, such as Regular taxpayer, Composition scheme, or Casual taxpayer.

3. Fill out the Part-A of the registration form: Fill out Part-A of the registration form, which includes basic details such as your name, mobile number, email ID, state, and PAN number. You will receive an OTP on your mobile number and email ID, which you need to enter to verify your details.

4. Fill out the Part-B of the registration form: After verifying your details, fill out Part-B of the registration form, which includes details of your business such as name, address, nature of business, bank details, and authorized signatory details.

5. Upload the required documents: Upload the necessary documents such as PAN card, Aadhaar card, proof of business registration, address proof, and bank statement.

6. Submit the application: After filling out the form and uploading the documents, submit the application. You will receive an Application Reference Number (ARN) on your registered email and mobile number.

7. Wait for the application to be processed: After submitting the application, the GST department will process your application and verify the details provided in the application.

8. Receive GSTIN: If your application is approved, you will receive your Goods and Services Tax Identification Number (GSTIN) on your registered email and mobile number.
