Sub: Seeking feedback/suggestions/comments from field formations regarding the Manual of Exchange of Information to be incorporated in the revised version-Reg. Kind reference is invited to the above. 2. A committee headed by Pr.CCIT(IT TP), New Delhi, to revise the 'Manual on Exchange of Information', issued along with Instruction No.1 of 2013 , (copy enclosed as Annexure) has been constituted with the approval of Chairperson, CBDT. 3. All the field officers under your jurisdiction, may be requested to provide their comments/suggestions/feedback on difficulties (if any) faced by them with respect to the usage of 'Manual on Exchange of Information'. Field authorities may also be requested to provide the details of good cases, wherein, information received from Foreign Tax Authorities, based on the request for exchange of information, has resulted in additional taxes/penalties. In all such cases, a brief description of the case, information sought, received from Foreign Tax authorities, the tax effect based on such information received may be forwarded in sealed cover to the undersigned by name. 4.
