MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Commerce) NOTIFICATION Dated 31 July 2008 S.O.1907(E) - In exercise of the power conferred by sub-section (2) of Section 53 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005) , the Central Government hereby appoints the 31st day of July, 2008 as the date from which the sector specific Special Economic Zone for biotechnology sector at Villages Kharivali and Bhopivali, Taluka Wada, District Thane in the State of Maharashtra proposed to be developed by M/s.
