MINISTRY OF FINANCE (Department of Economic Affairs) (FINANCIAL MARKETS DIVISION) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 30th July, 2018 S.O. 3730(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 4 of Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992 (15 of 1992) read with rule 3 of Securities and Exchange Board of India (Terms and Conditions of Service of Chairman and Members) Rules, 1992 , the Central Government hereby appoints Shri Anant Barua, Executive Director, Securities and Exchange Board of India to the post of Whole Time Member, Securities and Exchange Board of India on immediate absorption basis subject to him resigning from the existing post, for a period of 3 years from the date he assumes charge of the post or till he attains the age of sixty five years or until further orders, whichever is the earliest, with pay as admissible to an Additional Secretary to Government of India or a consolidated salary of ₹ 4,00,000/- per month.
