Superseded vide NOTIFICATION NO. 82/2022-Customs (N.T.) dated 23-09-2022 MINISTRY OF FINANCE (Department of Revenue) New Delhi, the 29th November, 1980 G.S.R. 1222. - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section 11 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) and in supersession of the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No 118- Customs dated the 4th May, 1963, the Central Government, being satisfied that for the maintenance of security of India it is necessary so to do, hereby prohibits the export of maps on a scale of one-fourth inch or more equal to a mile and the micro-films obtained from such maps depicting , any part of India including its international boundaries and showing topographical features by cantours.
