Scheme for Filing of Statutory Documents and other Transactions by Companies in Electronic Mode (Second Amendment), 2009 - Amendment in Annexure 'A' - S.O. 3314 (E) - Companies Law

Subject:- Scheme for Filing of Statutory Documents and other Transactions by Companies in Electronic Mode (Second Amendment), 2009 - Amendment in Annexure 'A' S.O. 3314 (E) In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 610B of the Companies Act, 1956, the Central Government hereby makes the following Scheme to amend the Scheme for Filing of Statutory Documents and other Transactions by Companies in Electronic Mode, namely:- 1. (1) This Scheme shall be called as the Scheme for Filing of Statutory Documents and other Transactions by Companies in Electronic Mode, (Second Amendment), 2009. (2) It shall come into force from the date of publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Scheme for Filing of Statutory Documents and other Transactions by Companies in Electronic Mode, in Annexure A , in paragraph 4, in sub-paragraph (8), for clause (b) , the following clause shall be substituted, namely:- (b) The Central Government, after receiving authorization from the State of Kerala and Lakshadweep, has started collection of stamp duty on their behalf also w.e.f. 18th November, 2009 and therefore, has extended the transition period from 1-1-2010 to 31-3-2010. The 1st day of April, 2010, shall be the effective date, for a company to compulsorily make payment electronically for stamp duty in respect of all the States which have authorized to the Central Government to collect stamp duty on their behalf. In respect of the States from whom the authorization is yet to be received, the company shall continue to pay stamp duty outside the MCA portal . [F No 1/04 /2009 CL.V] Avinash K.
