Please discuss the matter with the concerned Service Tax Officials/ACES Department as they would be in position to help you out.

I also have the same problem, I wrote a mail to ACES and they reply that print or view facility presently not available so kindly wait for some time.

Dear Mr Gupta,

I have also written to them stating all  that I have stated in my article but do not have any response. Only response which was there was regarding the acceptance of returns which were filed for prior periods which were rejected. Ideally ACES should consider returns submitted by assessees as" Filed" if the same is rejected for any reason and intimate the assessee to refile again stating the reasons for rejection. One of the main reasons for rejection are " mentioning wrong notifications etc" . With complicated issues such as reverse charge and abatement notificatiions involved assessees are bound to make mistakes and returns should not be rejected for such reasons

Same answer was given to me by ACES as given to Mr. N.K. Gupta - Wait for some time - The reason behind may be they have not yet develop the program which generate the pdf file

The filed return can be viewed under 'View Original ST3' and 'View ST3' options in the RET module of ACES with print facility after a few days (the exact date to be announced later).

Pl. do not worry. "If the status of the XML file show as "FILED"". Pl. see the running strip in the ACES site. For your ready reference I have copied it and shown above in red colors. The Dept. have clearly mentioned that they will announce the date from which date the Return can be viewed.

Friends in my opinion we consultants are really facing a top time. We have really tried very hard to bring all the assessee for compling to file the return within the due dates i.e. 25 the April and 25th Oct.

But due to the transition period it is really a top time for us. First of all the department is not able to provide the relevant form in time, they have extended the due dates for filing the return because of this reason only, and now after filing the return, now they are not able to provided the filed copy of the Return.

This in my opinion is really very pathetic situation for all of us.

Hope we all will overcome the issue at the earliest.
