You may read note no. 2(p) of the chpater notes of chapter 39 which excludes goods of textile from this chapter. Where as section note no. 1(h) of section XI excludes certain goods coated, covered or laminated with articles of chapter 39 from textile and textile articles. Since, more details may be required for reaching out a final conclusion, I am of a considered view that non woven polypropylene carpets would be classifiable under chapter 57 of the CETA.
