sir i would like to know that upto which date government is thinking to implement goods and services tax.................. and what will gone be the major changes in goods and services tax pleasse inform me about it as soon as posssible i am waiting for your reply sir.................. GST may be implemented in the year 2014. GSTN will be lauched in Oct'2012 and all State VAT will be covered under this. The cascading effect of taxes will be removed under GST regime and may provide a major flip to our economy.
there is no formal communication from givernment, but GST is only way available for government to improve its image. However considering currrent political senerio cogress cannot do much.
my opinion is not before 2014. it is a welcome step as it will remove all state indirect tax and will ease the process of credit.
