If you are an existing registered assessee then there is no need to get it again.
Dear sir, This Circular No.161/12/2012 -ST is for Accounting Code for payment of service tax under the Negative List approach to taxation of services, it is not related to registration. I agree with Mr. Pradeep that If you are an existing registered assessee then there is no need to get it again.
