Procedure to claim refund, Service Tax

we are exporting garments and there are no local sales.we are given an information that service tax paid on various inputs can be claimed refund.please inform 1.on what services refund can be claimed. 2.procedur for claim of refund. 3.How many years we can claim refund.

Mr Shankar you have correct information about the refund of service tax on inputs related to exports.Please refer to notification no 41 dt 6.10.2007 of service tax as given in this portal for the complete procedures in this respect. Would only like to mention that the relevant form is Form R and the time deadline is 60 days from the end of the quarter in which the exports are executed.Hope this will be f help.
