2022 (3) TMI 1554 - SCH - Indian LawsRequirement to furnish bank guaranteed against the dues - HELD THAT - Having gone through the impugned judgment and order passed by the High Court and more particularly when against the dues of Rs. 40, 00, 00, 000/- (Rupees Forty Crores) the petitioner is directed to furnish the Bank Guarantee of approximately Rs. 12, 00, 00, 000/- (Rupees Twelve Crores) in exercise of power under Order 21 Rule 40 (2) of the CPC there are no reason to interfere with the impugned judgment and order passed by the High Court. The Special Leave petition stands dismissed.
The Supreme Court dismissed the Special Leave petition as the petitioner was directed to furnish a Bank Guarantee of Rs. 12,00,00,000 against dues of Rs. 40,00,00,000. The impugned judgment and order passed by the High Court were upheld.
