This initiative aims to enhance business efficiency by eventually discontinuing physical scrips. Current owners must record transfer details online before new owners can use the scrip for duty payment. The DGFT and Customs will verify ownership through this system, and failure to record transfers may prevent scrip utilization. The procedure for recording transfers is detailed, and simultaneous transfers to multiple entities are prohibited. The DGFT is not liable for any disputes arising from non-compliance.
