The West Bengal Goods and Services Tax (Third Removal of Difficulties) Order, 2018, addresses issues related to the electronic filing of annual returns under the West Bengal Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. Registered persons, excluding specific categories, are required to file these returns by December 31 following each financial year. Due to delays in the electronic system's development, the deadline for filing returns for the period from July 1, 2017, to March 31, 2018, has been extended from March 31, 2019, to June 30, 2019, to facilitate compliance.
