DGFT Amends HBP: 6 APA Removed, Penicillin Export Obligation Period Unchanged for Unregistered Sources, No Extensions Allowed.

The Directorate General of Foreign Trade has amended Appendix 4J of the Hand Book of Procedures (HBP) 2015-2020 and the General Notes for Chemical and Allied Products under Standard Input Output Norms (SION) in HBP Volume 2. The amendment involves the removal of 6 APA (ITC HS Code No. 29411050) from both Appendix 4J and point 15 of the General Notes. The export obligation period for Penicillin and its salts (ITC HS Code No. 29411010) remains restricted to 12 months if imported from unregistered sources, with no extensions allowed. The notice also amends Public Notice No. 62/2016.
