West Bengal Designates www.gst.gov.in as Official GST Portal for Registration, Tax Payment, and More Effective June 22, 2017.

The Government of West Bengal has issued a notification under the West Bengal Goods and Services Tax Ordinance, 2017, designating www.gst.gov.in as the official Common Goods and Services Tax Electronic Portal. Effective from June 22, 2017, this portal will facilitate various GST-related activities, including registration, tax payment, return filing, and the management of integrated tax and electronic way bills. The portal is managed by the Goods and Services Tax Network, a company established under the Companies Act 2013. This notification is authorized by the Governor and communicated by the Joint Secretary to the Government of West Bengal.
