Puducherry GST Act Amends Exemptions for Fair Price Shops, FIFA U-17 Services, and Defines LLP as Partnership Firm.

The notification amends Notification No. 12/2017-CT(R) to exempt services provided by Fair Price Shops to the government and services related to the FIFA U-17 World Cup. It substitutes the Restructured Weather Based Crop Insurance Scheme (RWCIS) and Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY) for previous schemes. Additionally, it clarifies that a Limited Liability Partnership (LLP) is considered a partnership firm under the LLP Act, 2008. These amendments are issued under the Puducherry Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, by the Lieutenant-Governor of Puducherry, in the public interest.
