Andhra Pradesh extends deadline for 2017-2018 GST annual returns to November 30, 2019, due to technical issues.

The Andhra Pradesh Goods and Services Tax (Eleventh Removal of Difficulties) Order, 2019, issued by the Revenue Department, addresses issues faced by taxpayers in electronically furnishing their annual returns for the financial year ending March 31, 2018. Under Section 44 of the Andhra Pradesh GST Act, 2017, registered persons must file annual returns by December 31 following the financial year. Due to technical difficulties, the deadline for the 2017-2018 returns is extended from August 31, 2019, to November 30, 2019, as per the recommendations of the GST Council.
