Gujarat Amends GST Notification: New Entry for Aerated Water Under State Tax (Rate) Effective October 1, 2019.

The Government of Gujarat has issued amendments to the previous notification from March 7, 2019, regarding State Tax (Rate) under the Gujarat Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. Effective from October 1, 2019, the amendments include the addition of a new entry, "2A. 2202 10 10 Aerated Water," to the Annexure of the original notification. These changes are made following the recommendations of the Council and are deemed necessary in the public interest. The notification is authorized by the Joint Secretary to the Government.
