The Central Government has amended the export policy for Injection Remdesivir and Remdesivir Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) under the Foreign Trade Policy 2015-2020. Previously categorized as "Free," the export status is now "Restricted" as per the updated Schedule 2 of the ITCHS Export policy. This change, effective immediately, means that the export of these items is now prohibited. The transitional arrangement provision under Para 1.05 of the Foreign Trade Policy does not apply to this notification.
