India Extends Export Deadline by Six Months Under Customs Act 1962, Covering Feb 1 to June 30, 2021 Period.

The Government of India has issued Notification No. 39/2021, amending Notification No. 57/2000-Customs to extend the last date for exports by six months. This extension applies to cases where the original export deadline falls between February 1, 2021, and June 30, 2021. This amendment is made under the powers conferred by the Customs Act, 1962, and is deemed necessary in the public interest. The amendment follows a previous modification made by Notification No. 17/2021-Customs dated February 17, 2021.
