Mizoram Amends GST Notification to Include Fly Ash Bricks and Roofing Tiles Effective April 2022.

The Government of Mizoram has amended Notification No. 14/2019-State Tax dated March 22, 2019, under the Mizoram Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. Effective April 1, 2022, the amendment adds new entries to the existing table of goods, including fly ash bricks or aggregates with 90% or more fly ash content, bricks of fossil meals or similar siliceous earths, building bricks, and earthen or roofing tiles. This amendment was made under the authority of the Governor of Mizoram, following recommendations from the Council.
