Sikkim Amends GST Notification to Include Fly Ash Bricks, Building Bricks, and Roofing Tiles from April 2022.

The Government of Sikkim has issued a notification amending Notification No. 10/2019-State Tax, dated March 7, 2019, under the Sikkim Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. Effective from April 1, 2022, the amendment adds new entries to the existing notification table. These include fly ash bricks or aggregates with 90% or more fly ash content, fly ash blocks, bricks of fossil meals or similar siliceous earths, building bricks, and earthen or roofing tiles. The amendment is made following the recommendations of the Council.
