Telangana extends GST return filing deadline to August 31, 2023, u/s 128 of the GST Act 2017.

The Government of Telangana has issued an amendment to the notification G.O. Ms No. 21, Revenue (CT-II) Department, dated January 22, 2018, under the Telangana Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. This amendment, documented in G.O. Ms No. 25 dated February 24, 2024, extends the deadline for filing GST returns from June 30, 2023, to August 31, 2023. This change is enacted under the authority of Section 128 of the Telangana Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, following recommendations from the GST Council. The amendment is effective retroactively from June 30, 2023.
