The Reserve Bank of India has authorized four entities to perform authentication under the Aadhaar Act in accordance with section 11A of the Prevention of Money-laundering Act, 2002. This decision, dated December 12, 2024, by the Ministry of Finance, follows consultations with the Unique Identification Authority of India and ensures compliance with privacy and security standards. The entities granted permission are Annapurna Finance Private Limited, Incred Financial Services Limited, PayU Finance India Private Limited, and Razorpay Technologies Private Limited.
