Indian Government Enforces Constitution (105th Amendment) Act, 2021 Effective August 15, 2021, per Section 1(2) Notification.

The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment of the Indian Government issued a notification stating that the Constitution (One Hundred and Fifth Amendment) Act, 2021, will come into effect from August 15, 2021. This decision was made under the authority granted by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the said Act. The notification was released on September 15, 2021, by the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment.
