Government Amends SEZ Notification: Changes Approval Date for IT Services Zone to 23rd May 2007 Under Rule 8.

The Central Government has amended the notification S.O. 2002(E) dated 28th November 2007, regarding the establishment of a sector-specific Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for Information Technology and IT-enabled services at Rajarhat, Kolkata by a specified company. The amendment, under the authority of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005, changes the date of the Letter of Approval from 9th August 2007 to 23rd May 2007. This amendment is issued by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Department of Commerce, as per rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006.
