The Central Government, exercising its authority under clause (a) of section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962, officially designates Hyderabad Airport as a Customs airport. This designation allows for the unloading and loading of baggage at the airport, as per Notification No. 358/85-Cus, dated December 18, 1985.
