Disaster Management Act 2005: Sections 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 75, 77, 79 effective from July 28, 2006.

The Central Government, through the Ministry of Home Affairs, has announced that specific sections of the Disaster Management Act, 2005, namely sections 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 75, 77, and 79, will be effective from July 28, 2006. This notification is issued under the authority granted by subsection (3) of section 1 of the Act.
